Welcome

This page is a bit about silver = Eric

    Hello every one my name is Eric. I took on the name Silver when I logged on to the internet and needed a nickname for the online chat programs. The reason I picked the name Silver is, because for many years now I have been collecting rocksand minerals. Over the years I had collected so many beautiful stones,they were just sitting out side. This is when I realized, That I could cut them and polish to certian size. Once they were to a size one could set them into a piece of silver, and it was then I pick up the trade of silversmithing. The background I had growing up and in the work feild gave me the knowlege I needed to teach my self and to become rather good at it. This is how I picked up the name Silver.

Fishing Expirence

     My background has a wounderful history; meaningful only to me really. I will touch on a couple of pertinant aspects here. First: most of my life I have worked on the coast of Maine And fished the gulf of Maine. My fishing adventures was about as real as life gets, the beauty of the wildlife in the sea, the sunrises 25 to 100 miles off shore are so awesome, as well as the sunsets. I saw so much during my fishing career and I loved the ocean. Then one day on the way to work I was involved in an auto accident. This accident took me out of the fishing bussness. Since then I have been dicovering other ways to provide for my family. One of the reason for going back to college.

College

    I started college in January, of 1999 taking only one course to see if I was up for it. So far I have given it all I have got and doing well. I have been taking a course in Computer Information Systems, the indroduction couse (cis). This couse has been a challenge for me and I find it envigorating. Also I find that this course really gives me a wide indroduction to applications that proform many tasks within the computer and the internet. This I do know for sure I have a lot to learn about computer application.
In closing I would like to say that I am looking forward
to the rest of the couses I have ahead of me.
